Welcome to the Island of Panglao (Philippines) and to the Homepage of the Rebecca Schmocker Family!

We are a Philippine/Swiss couple and living with some of our children and grandchildren on Panglao Island since 1991. Sometimes relatives and friends abroad wonder where and how we live. Instead of a bulky photo album we created this website.

Additionally, we try to encourage people to visit us in the Philippines. With help of the Internet we are trying to find guests who are acquinted with the Philippine lifestyle, Balikbayan, families or couples with Filipino partner, rucksack tourists who want to explore the Philippines but don't want to stay in expensive places, and people who are interested in a deeper insight in family life in this country.

We don't run a commercial beach resort, nor a tourist inn or any kind of hotel. We are a normal family and have a house and a guest-cottage near the beach.

We enjoy having guests, and, of course, an additional income is always welcome.
